Bottle from Hier gibts bier and drunk at home. Clear brown colour lasting beige head. Milk chocolate flavour. malty. light hops. Milk chocolate all over it. light bitterness on the finish to balance the sweet chocolate. ok.

500 ml bottle. Unclear light golden, fluffy head. Grassy citrus hops, grain, hay, straw, slightly metallic. Hoppy bitterness, light malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy bitter finish. Good!

17/7/2020. Bottle from Craftbeer-shop.com. Pours very dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma...quite putrid, sour liquorice, stale pastry, mouldy dried fruits, expired Christmas cake. Taste is quite sour? Moderate body. Well within it’s BB date. Something really not right here surely?

Heuer ist es mir endlich gelungen, ein paar Fläschla des legendären Meinel-Bräu Absolvinator zu ergattern, direkt aus dem Brauereiverkauf in Hof. - Dunkles Kupferrotbraun, klar; reichlich Schaum. - In der Nase dichtes dunkles Malz, feine Lakritze, Mokka, nur eine Andeutung herbalen Hopfens. - Antrunk satt und weich dunkelmalzig mit feinen Röstaromen, Mokka, Bitterschokolade und dezenter Kirsche, schön kontrastiert von frischer zitroniger Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig; perfekt kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang kakaobitter und hintergründig hopfenherb. - Ungewöhnlich eleganter, ausgereifter Doppelbock, zwar sortentypisch dicht dunkelmalzig aber vergleichsweise leicht und rund, nicht so fett und plump wie manche. Klasse! (3.3.2020.)

Meinel-Bräu Doppelbock hell, Flasche von Heußinger, Bindlach. - Kupfergold, klar. - In der Nase bocktypisch fettes helles Malz, rosinig süß doch von gedämpfter fruchtiger Herbe, Trockenobst und Orange perfekt gerahmt. - Antrunk tief hellmalzig und satt malzsüß doch keineswegs zu süß, abgerundet durch Honig, Kräuter, Aprikose und feines Orangenöl. Mild rezent, vollmundig, perfekt kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang feine kräuterige Hopfenherbe. - Außerordentlich runder, eleganter Doppelbock. Ganz klar unterbewertet. (17.12.2019.)

Bottle. Blonde. Soft grassy aroma. Malty, grassy, soft hopbitter flavor. Butter and grass in the aftertaste. Decent pilsener.

Pale golden color, firm foamy head. Grass in the aroma. Grassy, slightly bitter flavor with a hint of vanilla. Hopbitter aftertaste. Well brewed and tasty helles.

Bottle. Brown color. Malt and milk chocolate in the strong aroma. malty sweet flavor with milk chocolate, cacao and a hint of licorice. Very tasty dunkel.

Bottle, brewed by Weisses Brauhaus neunburg. Blonde, cloudy. Banana and clove in the aroma. Medium bodied, with just a bit watery mouthfeel. Banana and even a hint of smoke in the flavor. Just a tad spicy. Well balanced weizen.
