(bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, deep golden colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Honey-ish malty aroma with notes of caramel, bready accents and flowery, slightly herbal hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Hearty malty base with bready notes, caramel, honey and a mild but present floral and herbal hoppy backbone, lingering into the balanced sweet-bitter finish. Rounded pale Bock. 16.IX.15

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a big but collapsing off-white foamy head. Hearty malty aroma with notes of bread, caramel and honey, accompanied by mildly herbal and flowery hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mf. Solid malty base with bready notes, caramel and hints of honey; shades of hops show up from the middle part, getting slightly stronger towards the bitter-sweet finish. Good one. 16.IX.15

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Pours amber with a medium and persistent white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, brown sugar. Flavour is medium sweet with a delicate smoked note and a decent bitter end. Medium body, medium to light carbonation. Ok.

Bottle from brewery. Pours Dark golden with a white head. Green hops, a bit of Sweet bread and honey and Lots of fresh juicy hops. Dry and bitter and very tasty! Bitter sticky finish! Lovely!

Bottle @ EM Opening Tasting, on the Hill of the dragon. Pours Clear golden with a white head. Vague smoke, grains and hops. Meaty. Dry bitter finish. Harmless - yet balanced

Tap @ Meinel Braü, Hof. Pours hazy golden with a white frothy head. Lots of grains, grassy and herbal hops. Chalky and dry. Hop burps. Brilliant - had a rough time to choose between this and the filtered pils when I came to round 2.

Gravity fass @Fass&Cask (Rome). Pours in a ceramic glass, big and persistent foam. Aroma of malt, milk bread, cereal, honey, hay. Flavour is a bit unbalanced, medium malty with a low bitterness, quite clean. Light body, light carbonation. A bit basic.
