Bottled. Cloudy yellow, creamy head. Pungent estery tiger balm aroma. Dryish and rathern slim with rounded mouthfeel. Lightly papery, but I get mostly tiger balm (which is a first time in beer for me!). Short finish without bitterness.

Bottle: Deep reddish-amber coloured, mid-sized creamy yellowish head; intensive dark-malty and roast-malty nose with traces of fruits and molasses; smooth MF, full bodied, soloid sweet-bitter flavour; first sweet, later chocolatey and more bitter finish, sticking to the tongue. A very pleasant, well balanced Bock.......

Bottle: Deep golden coloured, hazy, quickly diminishing head; mainly bananas in the fruity nose, underpinned by lemony citrus-fruit, yeast and wheat in the wings; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied; lemony acidity in the wheaty-fruity finish. A refreshing Weizen........ (the label says, that it is brewed by Weißes Bräuhaus Neunburg v. W.)

(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a beautiful, lacing foamy white head. Sweet, grainy, cereal-like aroma with honey-fruity accents. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, crispy mf, Pale malty taste, light fruity notes; moderately sweet malty finish with a distinctive herbal hoppy note, especially in the aftertaste. Well-hidden but warming alcohol. Pleasant and well-crafted pale Doppelbock.

Bottle: Slightly hazy, pale golden coloured, almost a huge, fluffy white stable head; sweet-malty, a bit honeyish nose; robust sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied, soft MF; first sweet and honeyish, later dry, lingering hop-bitter finish with well hidden alcohol. A very pleasant, extremely well balanced Doppebock, a franconian gem....... Completely underrated IMHO!
