Cask-conditioned at the Bag O'Nails, Bristol 14/1/2019. Golden in colour, with a thin, white, head. An easy drinking pale ale, with some citrus character, white bread malts and a dryish finish. Fine.

Keg at the Kings Arms - Bethnal Green. Pours hazy gold with a dense, creamy white head. Dry and pithy, plenty of lemon and grapefruit pith, dry pale malts, pine needles. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Dry finish, more citrus pith, a little flinty minerality. Good stuff.

Can picked up from Beer Gonzo, Earlsdon, Coventry and consumed at home Sunday 30th December 2018 we're eating Meatballs de Mehico! from the fabulous Thomasina Miers Mexican cookbook. We're listening to Tom Robinson on 6 Music. Pours black with a light beige head, lots of chocolate, quite smooth a little milk chocolate. The chilli is certainly there but it's a subtle warmth and is well integrated into the stout. I like it's a very easy drinker considering the abv. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

440ml can from the Wolf, Birmingham. Pours a hazed golden amber, large white froth. Aroma has citrussy leanings, some pineapple and lychee notes. Taste sees the malt and hops tussling for supremacy, perhaps 6 months ago the hops would be winning but the malt seems to be putting up a fight. Quite a robust bitterness alongside some hefty pine and grapefruit. Yeah its pretty decent this.

Keg at the Barley Twist, Nottingham. Bluish purple and murky with a big off-white head. Light, almost non-existent aroma with liht fruit and plastic notes. Tastes sweet and fruity with blueberry and malt detectable. Long finish with fruity hops providing balance. I'm quite underwhelmed by this. It's a bit on the dull side.

Can picked up from Beer Gonzo and consumed at home Friday 14th December 2018 whilst cooking a chicken curry. Pours warm gold/light orange, very murky with a white head. Fruity beer that delivers a few hoppy burps, hoppy with a dirty grapefruit taste. This beer like many an album doesn't instantly impress it's a slow burner but by the time your half way through it really delivers. I thoroughly enjoyed this, it's far too easy to drink for an 8.2% beer, lovely. A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov16 3.8
