Cask at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2021. Nice peat and whiskey aroma and taste. Malty and light smoke. Medium body.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2017 [ The 42th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 10th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB.

[ As Beath Mad World ].
ABV: 4.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, light wood, light coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, dark malt, roasted, soy sauce, dark fruit, light chocolate - coffee. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171014]

Bottle at Craig's. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of cocoa, prune. Taste is more of the same. Slightly thin.
