Tap. Dark amber color with white head. Aroma is caramel, resinous, grapefruit, a bit oxidized. Taste is the same, with a lot of fresh yeasts. Medium carbonation, sticky, meh.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with eggshell head. Aroma is white wine, nutty, lychee, barrel sugar, wheat, banana, caramel, funky. Taste is funky white wine, a bit tart. High carbonation. Lots of barrel at play here, and it’s overcarbonated, but the character is really nice!

0.33l bottle from getränke oase in münchen. whatever. pours almost black with a medium beige head. aroma of roasted malts, coffee, dried apples and pears, a hint of wild berries. flavour of ashes, apple cider, white wine. technically, being a mix of 60% imperial stout and 40% cider, it is more a stout than a cider, but apples are quite prominent here; I probably would not have been able to guess the colour when drinking with eyes closed. quite dry, alcohol is well hidden. easy drinkable, much more than an average imperial stout.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, murky amber to brown colour with a firm and stable off-white foamy head. Herbal, piney and slightly fruity hoppy aroma with notes of pineapple and hints of draffy, slightly oxidized malt. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Dry-ish malt character with draffy notes and shades of caramel, backed by fruity and slightly piney hops; sweet-bitter, slightly fruity and piney hoppy finish. Bottle. Phenolic clementine peel and wood aroma. Hazy amber, golden head. Medium full creamy body. The full gamut of fruity flavors with booze on top: orange peel, banana, pear, apple, light tropics. Foamy molecular kitchen finish. Interesting.
