Cask at The Scottish Real Ale Festival 2014. Online beer lists says Sunset, but I’ve written down Sunrise in the programme, so I’m going with that. Pours clear amber, thin white head. Lght spice and malt aromas, some citrus. Good bitterness to it, more spicy that citrus though.

Cask, 5.3% abv, one-third pint. B7 Snow Bar, GBBF ’11. Naked surface to a transparent amber body. Resinous hops to the nose. Hay-like taste followed by a bite of citric shells. Nice dry bitter end. Flat mouthfeel. True to the style, more or less (London, 03.08.2011).

Cask @ The Burnbrae, Bearsden.
Golden ale, 1 finger white head which dissipates to a thin layer.
Aroma of vegetables, caramel malt, some grain hops - rather unpleasant smell.
Taste of light sweet malt, a touch of bitter hops, cooked vegetables. Boring and bland.
Palate bittersweet finish with cereal.
A poor, bland beer with an poor aroma. Left half of the pint. The commercial description in no way relates to what I tasted. A waste of money.
