Bottle, danke Günther! Fresh herbal, light sourdough aroma. Dark golden, low carbonation, big white lace. Fruity (peach, apple), a hint caramel, minerals. Medium body, dry sparkly on the tongue. Apple aftertaste,moreish.

Deep amber color, good off-white head. Aroma of leather, sweet maltyness, grains and light grassy hops. Medium to full bodied. Starts quite sweet malty but then in the finish some toasted notes too. Low bitterness, some grainy notes and alcohol. Somewhat smooth palate. Not too bad. This is something between helles and dunkler bock.

Aroma has sweet malt, some kellerbier-like element and hints of butter. Flavour is sweetish and a bit stale with malt, some grain and mint bubblegum. More kellerbier than märzen.

Bottle from Bierzwerg. Dark brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, honey. Taste is nice hoppy, roasted malt, hints of coffee are also present. Dry finish. Surprisingly nice Schwarzbier.

Bottle: Golden, small persistent white head, slightly cardboardy nose with peppery hops in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, relatively soft; a slight tartness and a tinge of cardboard in the short sweet-bitter finish. Unspectacular and quite weak by franconian standards......

50cl bottle from Bierzwerg. BBE 02/2012. Poured pale golden with a frothy, lasting white head. Aroma is sweet malty and grassy. Flavor is grainy, hint of metal and bitte hops. Thin. Dry finish. Decent.
