Tap. Pours clear deep chestnut, Medium beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is malty, caramel, nutty, a hint of smoke. Flavor is medium sweet, very light bitter. Medium body. Not bad.

Sampled from nitro at the brewpub. Pours near black with a thick light brown head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has sweet dark grains with notes of mocha and a touch of roasted malts. Flavor has buttery dark grains with bitter roasted malts and a hint of mocha.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of grain with a good amount of bread and a biscuit note. Flavor has sweet grains and biscuit with bread supporting.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a deep brown with a slight red hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a lot of grass within thin dark grains underlying. Flavor has a bit more dark grains with light roasted malts and a touch of sweet grass.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper gold with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has musty grains with some bread and a touch of leaves. Flavor has sweet grain and biscuit with some butterscotch and a hint of leaves.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has lots of straw with a bit of corn and some Belgian yeast supporting. Flavor has a good amount of Belgian yeast and clove with some grain and straw underlying.
