Sampled from nitro at the brewery. Pours black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has roasted malts with dark grains and a dry bite. Flavor has more of an earthy dark grain note supported by roasted malts.

Winterfest 2015. Decent kolsch with more flavor than most. Still on the light side, but some malt flavor. Very light palate. Not bad, but as we generally see from the kolsch style, there is not much to enjoy.

Sampled from the tap at Winterfest 2015. Pours a hazy gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has lots of bread and corn with underlying sweet grains. Flavor has sweet grains and corn with a hint of bread.

Sampled from the tap at Winterfest 2015. Pours deep black with a dark brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has lots of musty dark grains with a bit of chocolate and roasted malts. Flavor has lots of dark grains supported by roasted malts and dark chocolate.

I liked this. It has a nice copper color and lacing head. Some hops, decent amount actually. Dry malt and a sort of earthy quality I really like. Good palate. A very light mineral taste that is not bad ar all.
