Description
Horus Aged Ales is a 100% barrel aged brewery located in Oceanside, California. We believe in pushing the boundaries on how much beer can evolve through resting in oak by using a variety of different wine and spirit barrels, adding exotic fruits, and fermenting spontaneously. The complexity of the beer portrays our passion for experimentation and patience required to produce such a unique beverage. Horus has been a decade long dream that is finally coming true and we look forward to introducing our exclusive beer to the fine people of San Diego County.

Bottle shared by Steasy. Pours black with a earthy brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has lots of hazelnut and chocolate with vanilla and dark grains backing. Flavor has lots of hazelnut and vanilla with sweet dark grains and light chocolate underlying.

Draught @ Ale Tales, San Diego. Massively sweet and heavy with some blueberries, coconut, vanilla, nutty notes and syrup. Quite massive pastry overdose

Meadvent calendar 4. Deep dark purple, looks thick. Smell is strong, sweet, floral, lots of blueberry. Sticky body, bit boozy, nice smooth thickness. Taste is an almost obscene amount of blueberry, married lovingly with good honey. Tiny tartness. Lovely.
