50 cl can. Dark, almost black, creamy foam. Aroma: roasted barley, caramel, black bread, a little coffee drink. Taste: slightly sweet, burnt, bready, caramel and cheap coffee, slightly bitter at the finish, smooth, mediocre.

Bottled. Deep ambery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is ryebread and some sweet malts with some sugary sweetness. Flavour is rye bread, some sweetness and mild toasted tones.

It’s pretty disappointing that 85% of the available beers in town are Pilsners. I was hoping for more Hefeweizen, Bocks, Goses, etc. Oh well. At least they’re cheap!
