500ml bottle. Darkest brown, almost black colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. toasty, bready, malty aroma, notes of dark bread, pumpernickel, a touch of treacle, some salty spiciness, a waxy touch. Taste is roasty dark malty, slightly grainy and bready, earthy, hints of spelt, dark bread, a touch of pumpernickel, treacle, a salty and a waxy touch. Quite intense and strong-flavoured considering the low abv. Not bad.

330ml bottle. Crystal clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Low Alcohol-typical, but unobtrusive, sweet-ish, muggy, grainy, malty aroma, hints of wet straw. Taste is sweet-ish grainy, slighty bitter, minimally grassy hoppy. Acceptable.

Bottle. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is musty, gluten wtf - corned beef. Taste is nami goreng, papery malts, a touch earthy hops. Watery mouthfeel with medium carbonation. This is very weird.

500ml bottle, BBE Sep 2018. Drank in my hotel room in Lauenau on 31st July 2018. Clear and bright golden pour, Snow White head on top. Nice hop based aroma and taste, dry and semi-bitter finish/aftertaste. Not to sure where the 'Spezial" comes in, but an easy drinking beer with nothing to offend anyone.
