Bottle. Clear gold with a decent white head. Aroma and taste of malts, grains, straw and bread. Sweet-ish. Low grainy bitterness. Moderate carbonation. Uninspired but drinkable.

Bottle. Yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is hay, grass and some mild grass. Flavour is grassy, grainy some dusty tones with mild hay and herbs too.

Small frothy head. Hayaroma. Slightly hoppy flavor with orange in the aftertaste. Typical boring German pilsener

500ml bottle, BBE Sep 2018. Drank in my hotel room in Lauenau on 31st July 2018. Clear and bright golden pour, Snow White head on top. Nice hop based aroma and taste, dry and semi-bitter finish/aftertaste. Not to sure where the 'Spezial" comes in, but an easy drinking beer with nothing to offend anyone.

Bottle: Golden, clear, medium-sized creamy white head; moderate grainy-strawy nose; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied, quite soft; slightly lingering sweetish-grainy finish with a slight tartness in the mildly bitter aftertaste. Down to earth Helles...
