Bottle at my parents’. Pours clear dark amber with off-white head. Aroma of caramel, some notes of citrus, bread. Tastes slightly bitter with some sweetness. Medium bodied, bitter finish.

Bottle from Kaufland, Goslar. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and hay. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 090417

0,33 l swing top bottle. Think its a different beer than their former Maibock, due to a different abv and Mandarina Bavaria hop. Clear dark red golden nearly copper in the glass, more than a one finger but fast fading head. Low malty on the nose. Taste starts with low malt and grain, some sweetness. Increasing alcoholic bitterness in the middle part. Some elements of orange. Low carbonation. Okay.

Bottle at Grunewoche. But brown with a thin head. Aroma is light malt. Flavour is malt, wood, smooth chocolate, malt and hip dry finish. Very easy drink.

From bottle at Grunewoche. Mahogany with a medium head. Aroma of chocolate malt. Flavor is powdered chocolate, hop and earth, flavor really grows as you drink it.

bottle, big thanks to kappldav123! Deep goolden with a small off-white head. Woody-brandy like nose. Medium-bodied, malty with a shy yeasty touch and wood flavours, also hints of brandy. Hints of vanilla round it off.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass very zippy, nice head. Wonderful spicy aroma. Starts fine malty-spicy, notes of herbs. Fine grasy. Hoppy, but not too dry. Light fruity notes. Finish well balanced, still fine hoppy-spicy-flowery. Light sweet. I liked it, but its probably not everyones taste.

Bottle nr 253/648. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark black, small head. Malty alcoholic aroma with coffee notes. Starts intense malty, roasty, light alcoholic. Woody notes. Hints of strong coffee, earth, some toffee. Finish roasty-malty, still intense notes of chocolate and coffee. Light fruity notes. Finish well balanced, warming-malty. Really nice!

Bottle nr 384/1212. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Starts mild, malty, light roasty. Some earthy hints. Not too dry. Light hoppy background. Finish soft-malty with hints of caramel. Quite drinkable. Definetely a nice beer!
