Sample, thanks to Roman. Pours clear gold, aroma has bright alcohol, honey. Taste is oily, slick on the palate, vibrant honey sweetness, generally clean, high alcohol presence. Good mead.

Sample thanks to Kolschtrinker. Pours clear pale gold. Aroma has rich honey, complex sweet, high alcohol. Palate is slick, oily. Taste is sweet, almost wine-like with a gentle, refined sweet mead presence, some underlying green herbal tea notes that aren't too imposing. Really enjoyable mead.

Danke an Christos. Alkoholisch honigartiger Geruch. Süß-säuerlicher Antrunk von Honig, intensiv, natürlich, ohne schmeckbaren Alkohol. Intensiv, kräutrig, Süße und Säure gleichen sich aus. Komplex mit feinen Noten von hellem Holz. Verdammt lecker! 9/14/13/13//13

Bottle. The mead is surprisingly clean, with no special yeasty funkiness or wood character from the barrels (at least I do not get any truly woody elements). Clean honey character, though not so easy to read - might be due to the moderate leftover sweetness, but overall the balance is good. Good one.
