ABR 2017. There is a very nice roasted malt aroma, some popcorn, charcoal, and grain. Dry with a moderate roast, very smooth palate and a little sweetness in the flavor to balance the roast. This beer pulls off the dark roasted malt better than many in that it is not overbearing with a burned quality.

Sampled All Pints North 2017. Very plain. Moderately hoped, balanced by malt. Dry, not much here. A bit thin. Just not much to enjoy here, even though I am not picking up any flaws.

Sampled at Winterfest as Bent Prop Baltic Porter. Black, low carbonation. Thick, rich malt, some red wine, lager yeast I think, it has that in the flavor. Some grape. It has a good palate and this is what I look for in a Baltic porter.
