The third beer at the Modry Abbe blind tasting.
Transparent golden coloured, medium sized white head, dusty lemony nose. Malty hay aroma, some grain and cheesy chrisp notes. Bitter hoppy finish and long lasting bitter aftertaste. Very nice beer.

2020 rerate (October 9 2020)
Tap at Valhalla Prague. Golden-amber body, white head. Buttery, malty and lightly herbal. Huh... Soft, buttery, smooth, lightly fruity and herbal taste going lightly bitter. Fairly lean, fairly drinkable, but... not the best beer around. Went down I guess. Far down.

2008 rate:
Beer no.3 at the blind tasting at Modry Abbe unless I’m not mistaken. Poured a lovely amber colour with a big chalky thick head that went away at a medium pace. Dusty hoppy nose, some grain and funkiness. Very nice. A pleasant hop bitterness, some yoghurty notes, grain and eggs. A pleasant underlying sweetness. Bitter hoppy aftertaste. Liked it more than the notes would indicate. Possibly the best beer so far. 8/7/8/6/8

Bottle. Pours a nice, clear golden body, topped by a diminishing off-white head. Rather fruity on the nose with some malts in the background. Fruity, slightly malty flavor, some notes of caramel, and a good bitterness towards the finish. There’s a little citrusy note in the far back, lifting the experience a bit. Medium fullness. Most of all, this is a beer one can drink all night, as it’s easy to down, but it will probably be too boring for an all-nighter. Sure a decent beer though, and the label is looking good to.
