Bottle. Pours a nice, clear golden body, topped by a diminishing off-white head. Rather fruity on the nose with some malts in the background. Fruity, slightly malty flavor, some notes of caramel, and a good bitterness towards the finish. There’s a little citrusy note in the far back, lifting the experience a bit. Medium fullness. Most of all, this is a beer one can drink all night, as it’s easy to down, but it will probably be too boring for an all-nighter. Sure a decent beer though, and the label is looking good to. bottle. Clear golden, nearly amber, colour, medium-size head. Malty nose. Typical bitter-sweet character, full-bodied, wonderful malty base with a good portion of aromatic Saaz hops. Lingering hoppy finish.

Bottled (BB 12/2008)
Light clear amber color, small white head. Buttery, woody-hoppy aroma with some fruityness, like from apples. Flat mouthfeel. Sweetish malty, apple-like flavor. Somewhat cellary, almost like drinking French biere de garde. Light hoppyness, more in the aftertaste. Not the most typical Czech pils, flat sweetness made me wonder if my bottle was normal (although it tasted ok), but omhper’s rating was somewhat similar.

Naja.. Test vom 19.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,7,6,8,9,7 - 7,20

Muffig hopfiger Antrunk, etwas säuerlich werdend, etwas malzig. Test vom 17.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,6,5,7,7,6 - 6,35

Bottled. Clear deep golden colour with mediumsized white head, which leaves nice lace. Aroma is butterscotch, grass, some hay along with some mild herbal tones. Flavour is bigtime grass, herbs lurking in the background along with sweet malts and some earthy hops.

bottle from Pivní Galerie. Dark brwon colour, clear, large beige head. Sweet and malty nose. Full-bodied, sweet and malty with hints of caramel, toffee and roasted malt; tiny touch of fruit. The finish is rather hoppy which makes an interesting contrast to the malty start.
