Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 15th September 2021. Hazy amber with shallow foam and almost no lacing. Mild tropical fruits aroma. Rich blend of zesty hoppiness and caramel in-mouth, and a grassy, zesty citrus finish. Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Keg @ Beatnikz Republic Bar, Northern Quarter, Manchester. Hazed red with no head. Has a mild tang to a sweetness of the fruit, although the brew edges more towards a sourness overall. Its berry is represented well in the brew.

330ml can via Beer52: BB 31st May 2022. Drank at home on 27th August 2021. Poured into a Westmalle chalice and shared with no one. Hazy golden orange body, the head was large at first, but fell away pretty swiftly. The hops did their thing and gave off a citrussy aroma and then took control of the taste too. Why did they change the name from Equinox to Ekaunot? Asking for a friend!

Keg @ Nightjar, Hebden Bridge. Black with a small light brown head. It has a thick texture but not quite packing in the flavour or smoothness as expected from it. Has a good roasted aroma.

Can from Beatnikz Republic Brewery, Manchester. Blonde with a carbonation and a small head. Fairly bland lager, although at an easy strength so it’s fairly easy in the palate. Its aroma is a little more interesting as its lager malt is fairly potent.

Large foamy white head left a foamy white cover on a hazy lemon coloured body. Pine & herbal aroma. Medium bodied, smooth over the tongue with a sharp back. Bitter, pine, medical, herbal & tangy white wine tastes with a long tangy finish - almost sour on the end. Good one - clears the palate.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy pale amber pour with a billowing white head; tropical fruit aroma; tropical fruit taste with mango to the fore, and a soft oaty body; there's little in the way of bitterness or finish.
