Hazy yellow with a fluffy head. Lemon zest and lemon juice, some black tea, peach, stone fruit, quince. Mild herbal bitterness, fruity sweetness and sourness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry fruity herbal bittersweet finish. Quite decent Pale Ale with a nice tea aroma. I don’t get the bad reviews, it’s not great, but far away from being awful.

Old rating - 330ml bottle from JB's Brewhouse in Jersey, poured at home, it's near black with beige foamy head. Aromas & tastes of dark berries, milk chocolate, coffee & dark malts. Medium body. Well balanced. Moderate bitter finish. The high ABV is very well hidden. Outstanding
