On tap at BRUS, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma has some medium roast, earthiness, and gentle hops. Flavour is very dry, with toasted malt, earthiness, some hoppy bitterness, and a hint of roast. For a 4% beer, this has a nice dry malty character. Solid enough.

On tap at BRUS, pours black with a small beige head. Nose is buttery, with butterscotch, diacetyl, and caramel. Flavour somehow brings out diacetyl, caramel and maybe a bit of barrel. I’ve never had a BA impie that has had diacetyl notes. Even if there’s not objectively diacetyl here, the notes aren’t pleasant. This doesn’t work.

On tap at BRUS, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma has gentle grassy hops and biscuity malt. Flavour has grassy hops, herbal notes, and straw. Grassy, herbal notes on the finish. It’s alright.
