Bamberg jolly day 3 26/01/2014. Bottle shared on the train. Golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is spicy hops and touch of lemon. Flavour is crisp, floral hops and pils grain. Finish has a nice lemon zing.

Day 3 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle from Rewe Bamberg shared on the train from Nuremberg to Freising, 26/01/14. Clear pale golden with a big old white head. Nose is grassy, citric sherbets, lemon tang, hint of bread, light floral tones. Taste comprises light tangerine, lemon, grassy, bread dough, orange peel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough pils.

Amber colour, white head. Aroma of malts, hay, caramel, light hops. Sweet malty flavour, light hay, light bitter, caramel. Finish hay and malts. More reminding of a Kellerbeer (which it says on the label) than a Dunkel/Tmavý (which for some reason is the denoted style here on ratebeer atm)

Bottle @ home. Clear dark orange to slightly amber color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, straw, decently bitter. Average body, average carbonation. Doesn’t taste like a dunkel/tmavy at all.

Bottle @ benzai thx to me. Clear orange colour with medium sized off-white head. Smells malty, sweet. Tastes sweet, malty, fresh, nice. Easy to drink, soft carbo, nice body.
