Description
Beers Brewed With Neighborhood Funk
At Resident Culture, the concepts of subtlety and nuance are heralded, particularly with regards to our lager beer, mixed culture and spontaneous offerings. Our coolship program reminds us daily of our obsession with a hyper sense of place that inspired us to transform an old family warehouse into a space that, first and foremost, serves our neighbors. We also have a genuine appreciation for assertive, hop-forward styles and strive to accentuate the character and quality of our farmers' harvest. We take our beer seriously, but most importantly, we value the relationships and family culture we have cultivated at the brewery. We are proud to have an incredibly tight-knit crew, all of whom play an important role in creating the brewery we have become. At the end of the day, it's beer that we make, but it's our community and the taking care of each other that makes the foundation we're built upon.

16 oz. can in a trade with travlr. Thanks Gene. Aroma is grapefruit peel, grassy hints, and oats. The oats give a nice mouthfeel. Flavor is like the aroma, grassy, citrus, wheaty/ oaty. Alcohol is pretty hidden. Well made.

Pint can pours with a murky messy opaque dirty straw gold body that supports a thin off white head of foam. The aroma offers up flowery guava, mango, cantaloupe and a sense of strawberry. The taste delivers soft cantaloupe and guava punctuated by more bitter hop notes of floral and somewhat pine. Overall this is nice with virtually no sense of the ABV.

16 oz. can in a trade with Travlr. Aroma is floral, resin, grapefruit. Flavor shows a lot of floral / herbal hints. Finish is mildly astringent with resin. Body and carbonation are normal. Drinkability is low. Nothing awful.

16 oz. can in a trade with Travlr. Flavor shows me light cracker / biscuit/ dough backbone. Good backbone of notes of biscuit, honey, and toasted grain and mild yeast on the finish. Rather refreshing.

Can from the source courtesy of Owen, thank you! Paired w/ Mango Habanero donuts from Mom’s. Complements the mango. Donut needs more habanero and pairing would have been better. Beer itself is murky in color. Grapefruit and pineapple aroma. Taste is fruit juice, thin body, light hop burn
