Bottled. An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and bread, as well as lighter notes of hops and straw. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of malt and caramel, but also a light touch of hops. A slight phenolic note shows up in the finish. I think maybe my first dark IndiaN pale - weird style...

Bottle, #47, from trade with Papsoe. It’s a hazy, dark orange-golden beer with a creamy, finger-thick beige head that lasts. Caramel, some sourness, syrupy fruityness and some sweet alcohol on the nose. The flavor is sweet and caramel-ish with dried fruits, some alcohol and a hint of higher alcohols. A bit too warming, full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Not really sure about this one, it feels a bit unclean, but might be better when not drank in rating-mode. 090919
