Bottle, 5.0%. Almost clear amber color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is bready yests, caramely, a touch grassy hopspice, a touch tobacco; so far so standard, typical amber Kellerbier aromas. Taste is a very pleasant surprise: also buttered caramel, earthy, hay, bready, toasted grains and cereal, almost Zoigl-like, medium sweetness (at first - it seems to increase with each sip), with a light grassy hopspice, coming together to form a Süffigkeit that is not possible to describe just with the flavour vocabulary. Slick oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. The flavours are standard, but it is really well-executed and works together nicely. Almost Franconian in its rusticness, softness and drinkability, but also a tiny bit too sweet.

Bottle, many thanks herrklemann! Rather clear golden color with white head. Aroma is citrusy, a touch farty. Taste is citrusy, soapy, perfumed, a touch fudge. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not bad.

Aroma of bourbon barrel, dark chocolate, caramel, coconut, vanilla, some dark fruits, some booze.
Tastes quite similar, while boozier and less diverse
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes boozy, medium sweet, moderate roasty, a bit dry, wooden, with bourbon, tobacco, some cocoa, some dark fruits.
Very nice. Lovely, dense nose, full of smooth bourbon barrel. Taste is a bit too boozy. Very good, warm sipper.

0,1l from Craft Bier Fest Wien. blck color, small coffee colored head. smells of wood, bourbon, boozy, berry notes, nutty, marzipan, coconut. very nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes very woody, coconut, booze, nutty, marzipan, light cinnamon. finishes lightly dry with notes of booze, wood and marzipan. rather nice one but very wood forward. good stuff overall. 8, 4, 8, 3, 15

0,33l bottle at home. Bottled 13.08.2016. BB 10/2016. quite the gusher this one. even after pouring some it still tried to get out the bottle. orange quite hazy color, huge white head. smells yeasty, leathery, spices, hints of fruits, some peach, peppery. decent smell. medium body, medium carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes lightly citric, some yeast, spices, bit peppery, light fruits, lightly doughy. finishes lightly dry with notes of yeast, some peach and peppery notes. overall good to drink.
