Bottled 330ml. -First rate of this Schladminger. Totally different label than this one on picture. Golden coloured, medium sized white head that went away slowly, grassy caramellish nose. Malty, grassy and some caramel with dusty honey notes. Pretty short finish with trace of salt. Average beer.

0.5 l bottle my friend Matea brought from Salzburg or Wien, huge thanks! Was happy to see this as didn’t take it in my last trip to Austria. It poured hazy yellow body with medium sized head. Weaker, chalky and yeasty aroma. Flavor was stronger, grainy and yeasty basically. Mostly bitter, chalky with some lemon hop notes. Carbonation was low and its body medium to full. Its aftertaste was long, quite pleasant and bittersweet, yet smooth. Got more than I expected.

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Doggythedog (thanks!)
Slight cloudy lemon coloured, minimal white head, mild yeasty nose. Strong and not so pleasant barnyard and bready taste with slight acidic notes. Short bitterish finish. Nothing special here.

Bottle probably from the big Interspar near the Ikea in Graz. Poured a slightly darker yellow body, opaque of course, with a small white head. The nose is light and primarily yeasty, nothing too complex there. The taste isn’t all that strong either but it’s nice, dry and bitter, bready with some hop that carries lemon and some bitterness too.... some barnyard yeastiness too and some eggs too. Quite balanced for a macro Austrian Zwickl, and it struck a chord with me. I like it even if it’s not the greatest beer around.

Canned (500ml). -from Zielpunkt Graz. Hazy dark golden coloured, creamy white head, wheaty banana nose. Typical fruity (orange, banana), light acidic and a bit too watery. Notes of cloves and bubblegum with touch of spices in the finish. Drinkable weizen. 4.8%
