(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 23 Apr 2010) Cloudy, golden yellow colour with firm off-white head. Fruity, wheaty nose with notes of bread, citrus, banana and a touch of clove. Fruity, wheaty taste with citrus, white bread, banana and a slightly spicy hint of yeast. Medium body, with some sweetness. On the shy side, but a decent hefeweizen it is.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 29 Jan 2010) Pale yellow colour with a firm, rocky, white head. Malty nose with notes of grass, grain, toffee and a generous malt sweetness. Malty, full flavoured taste with grain, bread, toffee and a spicy, grassy bitterness in the finish. More than full body, balanced malt sweetness. The impressive malt presence and a generous grassy bitterness make this a solid, well balanced and tasty bock. Very nice.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Very zippy, huge head. Starts malty, a bit wheaty, more spicy than dry. Unusual but good. Finish shows light hoppy-dry notes, but only in the background. All in all very drinkable. I liked it!

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts strong, quite malty, then more and more spicy, also some wheaty notes. Finish a little bit metallically and dry, somehow hard. But all in all very drinkable. Good one!

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear golden, small but rocky head. Distinct grainy nose with some bubblegum and raisin. Sweet malt condensed to raisin and grain. Chewy potent, near full bodied. Rock solid with some grassy hops. Salty with bitterish finish and some warming alcohol. A superbly competent genuine bock, a work of art!

Golden color, basically without carbonation, and no head. Mild aroma of cereals and apples. Soft mouthfeel, of course, with some malt and caramel flavor, also some cereals and an impression of honey; it doesn’t seem to be very special tonight.

Hazy light amber color. Delicate malt aroma, light cereals too. Medium body, pleasant malt and caramel flavor, light residual sweetness, but not many variations. Correct bitterness. Fair.

Bottle: Hazy, golden to deep golden, big stable fluffy off-white head; solid lemony-wheaty nose with a touch of bananas and a light toasty-grainy background; medium bodied, soft MF; moderate to solid sweet-sourish flavour; some hops show up in the moderate sweet-sourish finish. a very well crafted Weize.......
