(Bottle -- shared with Mirjukka and FatPhil, thanks --, at One Pint Pub, Helsinki on 2008-12-19) Pale golden. Clear. Grassy and fruity nose. Medium bodied and dry palate with lot of carbonation. Grass, fruitiness, bitterness and some grapefruit in taste. Bitterness and grapefruit in aftertaste.

Aroma is moderate malty, very roasted, cellar, brown sugar notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Bitterness is like metalic. bottle. Clear bronze-golden colour, smallhead. Malty-caramelly aroma. Low carbonation, as is typical for an Ungespundetes, malty body with some very nice aromatic hops. Smooth moughfeel, very well balanced maltyness and aromatic hoppy bitterness in the lingering finish. Hints of caramel hovering in the background.

Würzig hopfig-getreidiger Antrunk mit angenehm fester Malznote. Im Mittelteil etwas frischer, das Malz ist weitestegehnd in den Hintergrind gerückt, trägt aber noch stark zur würzigen Komponente bei. Frisch dunkel-getreidig, sehr süffig, feinherb. Würziger Abgang, hopfig-herb, getreidig. Ein gutes fränkisches Lager! Test vom 22.9.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,12,12,13,12,13 - 12,15

Clear golden with medium white head. Hop forward leaving the full bodied maltyness somewhat in the background, with a firm hoppy grip across the palate.

The bottle looks good. The beer in the glass is very zippy, but not much foam. Tastes malty and dry, modest sourish, somehow hard and unbalanced. Not very drinkable. Had better ones!
