Courtesy of Marko, after perilous smuggling!
Dark amber color, some particles in suspension. Strange aroma, grass, freshly cut weeds, and carrots; light honey. Sweet flavor, caramelized pineapple, botchet; mild astringency in the final.
Very interesting, weird.

Bottle. Aroma cedar wood, esotheric aromatic sticks. Clear deep amber colour, light head. Taste is foamy again, cloying sweetness, the same aroma sticks as in aroma. Elderflower, flowery.

8/11 A sample from a Marko’s bottle, thanks! It pours still a bit sparkling, brownish body. Sweet honey and propolis aroma. Flavor was sweet of course, but way too light for what I got used to. Thin, yet sticky and sweet with longer sweet and lightly acidic propolis finish. Marko is right, it’s hard to rate and can’t definitely go like mead, and although it’s a pleasant drink for lovers of very sweet drinks, definitely didn’t ring my bells.

A typical traditional lower-alcohol mead from Croatia. Dark amber-brown body with scant head. Full aroma, caramel, sweet, bubblegum show up among heavy honey. Nice full sweet taste, caramel drops & leather. Way too sweet for its own good, but it’s a pleasant drink nonetheless. Quality stuff really, though hard to rate - as a pop I’d have it over anything commercial, but it understandably can’t score high as a mead. They seem to have a strong version at 18%, and I really do hope to try it soon. They don’t skimp on the honey, and the full strength version should be really good.
