Draft. A black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, citrus fruits, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, bread, hops, and citrus fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Slowly gushing upon opening. Black with huge lively head. Rich piney licorice aroma. Mid sweet with medium body to full body and rounded, spritzy mouthfeel. Piney grapefruit and licorice, some treacle. Peppery mid bitter finish.

150ml draught at Skaal. Patchy surface, tan-coloured. Dark orange-brown body, cloudy. Spotty lacing on the glass. Coffee grounds on the nose. Similar taste of coffee grounds followed by roasted endnotes. Medium bodied. Decent coffee beer. (Copenhagen 08.05.2019).
