Golden and bright. Medium head. Bright hoppy nose- lychee, pear, pomelo. Same bright beautiful expression, clean dry pale malt. Look - I just did a long bike ride and that adds a couple points to the first beer usually but this is really good.

Brassy and bright, nice spicy hop, clean biscuity malt, fairly bitter. Really nice balance.

Hazy, bright, light fruitiness, some onion and alcohol. Decent soft pale malt base, but I’m guessing citra is the problem here, combines with a relative lack of bitterness.

Hazy, vibrant colour, tart, bright fruit, green mango, the base sour isn’t bad, fruits are mellow, but the elements don’t come together all that well.

473mL can. Pours clear light gold with foamy white head. Aroma has notes of resin and crisp malts; some herbal notes. Some resin, some grainy malts. Not as crisp as I'd hope for a pilsner. Meh.

473mL can, pours a pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out a bunch of piney hops, some gentle resins, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour has a decent grassiness, crackery malt, straw and some graininess. Grainy and seltzery, lacking the hop bite I would want in this. Okay.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 01/12/2023). Very dark brown with dissipating beige head. Very ashy, mild coffee, feint maple and chocolate. Weird wood quality. Okay, but just tastes like lower quality ingredients overall.

473 ml can. Pours a dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of cigarette ash, nutty dark chocolate, burnt coffee, and dry roasted malts. Flavors of acidic black coffee, ash, plastic, sweeten dark chocolate, and watery roasted malts. Incoherent. Needs a bigger malt base and obviously some maple and bourbon presence.

Can from High Point, Vancouver
Blond colour, hazy to cloudy, dull. The aroma is fruity, apple juice, hint of tropical, almonds. Lean body, off-dry; remarkable alcohol, marzipan, and possibly acetaldehyde. Ok bitterness. The more problematic traits seem to fade, after a while, or maybe it's just palate saturation.
It seems there have been fermentation troubles with this high octane one, like I've not seen in a while.
