Bottled (BZ, alc. 5.4%, BB 11/2010)
Clear deep nut brown color, small beige head. Aroma of grass, cardboard, toasted bread. Medium-bodied. Very (too) grassy hops, roasted malts, caramel and metal with unclean yeasty notes. Bready finish. I am not a big fan of this kind of dark German lagers.

A clean and fine Helles. 20.VIII.10

Bottle, kindly shared by fonefan. It’s a clear, amber beer with an off-white head. Weak malty and bready aroma. The flavor has caramel and bready malts, and some bitterness to balance it. Medium body, dry. Slightly metallic touch to the bitterness in the finish. The aroma of this one is rather boring, but the flavor is more or less where it should be. Nothing special though. 090821
