Tapped(?) at the Brauerei Sauer: Pale golden, hazy, stable beaten-egg-white-like head, yeasty-wheaty nose, banas and lemons underneath; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, pretty light bodied; light traces of cloves in the lingering sourish-lemony finish. Average Weizen, but not totally unpleasant...

(swing top bottle, purchased at the brewery) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Slightly biscuity and doughy malty aroma with notes of herbal hops and shades of citrus. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Pale malty, subtle fruity and mildly herbal hoppy taste; mildly sweet and bitter hoppy finish with a deceptively muted alcoholic strength. A goodie. 10.XI.12

Tapped: Golden, creamy and stable white head, lazy carbonation, drier bisquity-malty nose with distinctive honeyish touch and lots of herbal hops underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; lingering - even hoppier - bitter-bisquity finish with a slight alcoholic tartness. Well quaffable Bock...

On tap at the brewery Gasthof, July 2012. Medium brown in colour with an off-white head. Sweetish aroma with toffee, berry fruits and a touch of leafy hop. Flavour of bready malts and more fruit, leading to a moderately bitter finish. A good beer after a long walk on a hot day.
