From a 375ml can on 14/11/2019. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a barely any head. Has a slight malty, funky nose, which doesn't really hint at the style. Flavour wise, the basics are there - a good dose of caramel and toffee, with some dark and sweet citrus fruit, and a quite firm, resiny and lingering rye bitterness, which has some chemical and tangy citrus notes at the back. The mouthfeel is slightly syrupy and the carbonation moderate. Just lacking in character, cohesion and drinkability for mine
