Cloudy amber color, quite firm head. The aroma, is sweet, of sugar, some caramel, light vanilla. The flavor is ordinary, nothing to outline, just a light sourness.

Muddy blond color; half bottle flows away as foam from the bottle… Strange aroma, strong: honey. Strange lager, but not bad. High bitterness. I’m just annoyed because my table is wet…

Bottled, thanks Bov! Very dark with rich creamy head. Lightly vinous nose, but then nothing. No roastines or coffee like you’d expect in a stout, nor malt flavour or bitterness. Not really bad, but very empty.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy golden. Aroma of banana and wild yeast. Sweet and cidery with mellow mouthfeel and a strange chilli pepper flavour. Buttery alcohol finish.

Bottled, thanks Bov! I forgot Bov’s advice - and all of a sudden my living room was all beer and foam. The rest of the beer poured ugly muddy orange with lively head. Buttery malt aroma. Sweet and pleasantly malty with soft, rounded mouthfeel and lightly bitter finish. Tastes a lot better than you’d think when you open it.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Ruby colour. Loads of citric acid in the nose. Sweet and clean with sharp mouthfeel. Really poor.

[At Fete de la Biere 2004, Lausanne] An opaque black beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is of chocolate and coffee. The flavor is of chocolate, coffee, and roasted bread before a dry end sets in. A great flavor. The hops used in this one is Nothern Brewer.
