Aroma: some dark fruits, little roastiness, caramel, a bit of sweetness.
Taste: very dry, quite roasty, on the thin side.
Overall: ok.

Light brown, doesn't look like a Baltic. It has a bit of toastiness, sort of off-dry. A decent dunkel, certainly nothing Baltic. It drinks decently, has a bit of malt complexity. Not much for malt richness, but it's solid. Just not to style.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany brown with a medium beige head. Aroma has plenty of toasted malt, a tiny hint of vanilla, and a touch of tart red fruits. Flavour is very dry for a Baltic Porter, with lots of dry bready malt, and a hint of cocoa. Much drier than your average Baltic Porter, but I’m down with the malt character. Good stuff.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Dark chestnut brown with small light beige head. Chocolate malt, feint soured smoke note, a bit thin, feint hint of tobacco on the finish. Average.

750mL bottle. Pours dark brown with a light beige head. Dry roasted malts on the nose. Flavour has dry roasted malts, some roasted nuts. Good body and a fairly dry finish. Nice, toasty porter, but not really coming off as a baltic porter.

Can from the lcbo. Clear copper pour with a medium white head. Aroma is malt forward, but quite sweet, with some noticeable hopping and light spice. Mouth feel and carb are ok. It's a serviceable lager, but on the sweeter side. Nothing special really.
