500 mL swingtop shared by a friend. Thanks Nathan! Best by 09.09.11. Pours a hazy straw color with a thin head. Aroma of strong clove, banana, bread, caramel and a bit of smoke. The taste is tart wheat, strong clove, and almost mustard like note. A bit thin bodied. Definitely a bit different than your typical German hefe.

My bottle is entirely opaque, dark yellow with visible sediment. Very low carbonation. Flavor and aroma of a hefeweizen. A lot of banana, some clove, coriander. Sweet with citrus flavor. A sweet finish.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. BBF 14. Pours lightly hazy gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is light bready. Med body;frothy carb. Flavor is bready, with some noble hop. Something of a citrus touch off and on. Finishes breadily bitter.

Bottle. Poured pale yellow with thick white head. Hay aroma with a tiny bit of skunk. Very thin body, thin malty flavour with a smear of hop. Thin finish. Not memorable.

Bottle. Poured Pale yellow with thick lasting white head. Looks like the classic picture of a glass of pils. Light to medium grassy aroma. Light malty flavour, with some good bread notes. Crisp hop finish.

Bottle. Poured Pale yellow with thick white head, much lacing. Unfortunate very skunky aroma, a little malt, and more skunk. Thin body, thin flavour, a little hoppiness, Finish not bad, but not good either, Good looking, not so good tasting.

Bottle pours a sparlking slightly foggy very light yellow. Lively white fizzy head, but little carbonation in the palate. Aroma of honey and band-aids. Very sweet and light malt flavors. Some odd spice behind the flower honey notes. Soft sugary aftertaste. Strange.

First rating huh? 12oz bottle scored at Max’s, Baltimore. Pale straw yellow color. Spicy hop character, very Bohemian. Lots of hop and smooth lager yeast character. Classic, crisp beer.
