Bottle pours a sparlking slightly foggy very light yellow. Lively white fizzy head, but little carbonation in the palate. Aroma of honey and band-aids. Very sweet and light malt flavors. Some odd spice behind the flower honey notes. Soft sugary aftertaste. Strange.

First rating huh? 12oz bottle scored at Max’s, Baltimore. Pale straw yellow color. Spicy hop character, very Bohemian. Lots of hop and smooth lager yeast character. Classic, crisp beer.

10/01 Rieder Stelzhamer Jubiläumsbier, a 0.5 l swing top bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured clear golden body with medium sized head. Malty cornflakes Märzen aroma with lemon hops. Malts are dominating in flavor, mostly flowery and honey. Other flavor component has lemon hops and some grains. Pretty thin bodied makes finish short and bland. Like a hopped Märzen, average one.

swing top bottle (500ml). -Poured a pale golden color with small to medium white head and touch of honey in the nose. Slight malty, watery and grainy with notes of salt. One-dimensional, I agree with Doggythedog that the poet deserved more.

0.5l bottle courtesy of ogivlado (thanks!) who shared it with me and heavy. Golden body, medium sized white head. The nose isn’t all that impressive, malty with notes of honey, slighty dry/papery, weak hop. The taste is salty and watery, with some grainy and slightly eggy sweet maltiness. Dull hop. No, actually, dull overall. The poet probably deserved more.

swing top bottle (500ml). -Cloudy lemon coloured, medium to big white head, wheaty and bubble gum nose. Moderaty malty and yeasty, mild wheaty and acidic lemony taste with pleasant hoppy notes and not so pronounced fruity presence. A bit watery but quite refreshing weizen.

Bottle, 5.0%. Milky pale yellow colour, small white head. Quite clovey flavour, and also a little sweet. Hint of bread in the aftertaste, but quite suitable.
