500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Yeasty and hoppy aroma has a citrusy lime and lemon touch, nuttily background. Taste is moderately sweet malty, slightly nuttily and bready, cautious fruity hoppy overtones with a touch of orange and mandarine, some banana close to the finish; slightly dry and yeasty finish, moderately lively carbonation.

Tap. Pours cloudy yellow amber, medium puffy white head, dissipates slowly, great lacing. Aroma is cat piss, spruce, pine, a bit of citrus. Flavor is dry, medium bitter, citrus and spruce, touch of dankness. Clean with some lingering bitterness. Medium body. This here is an IPL!

Tap. Hazy butterscotch, small of white head, good lacing. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, touch of pine. flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, clean. Medium body, fairly high carbonation.

Tap. Pours hazy golden, small white head, no real lacing. Aroma is clove, wheat, banana. Flavor is light sweet and follows. Lots of banana and clove, a bit of lingering spice. Very solid.

16.9 oz bottle purchased at Royal Liquors in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is darker golden copper with a one inch slightly off white head that lasts and leaves behind nice lacing. The aroma is traditional Marzen with toasted caramel malt grains and floral. The taste is malt, apple fruity, followed by earthy grain and bright mineral hops. There is a hint of clove yeast in the lingering finish. The palate is medium bodied, active carbonation and a slightly cloying honey sweet mineral finish.

Pour is a dark amber with a large white head. Aroma is a sweet sticky caramel malt with a subtle green hop. Flavor is a big sweet malt up front with a minor but noticeable hop in the backround. Finish leaves a big sweetness but also a nice resin on the tongue. I much prefer STLIPA over this beer with it’s more aggressive hop but this does have a few things going for it.

Pour is a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is a bit of cracker malt and a bit of wet paper bag. Flavor is better. Dry bready malt with a bit of cracker and grassy hop. Finish is clean with no alcohol burn. I’m not a fan of this style but this beer is more of a pils then a heavy malt liquor like some seem to be.
