500ml Bottle - Copper with orangey tinges. Raisins, sultanas and some bready malts in the aroma. Fruity and malty taste with raisins, caramel, sultanas and hints of blackcurrant. The finish is moderately sweet with some slight metallic notes, but luckily these notes do not spoil things.

500ml Bottle - Golden in colour. Grain, biscuity malt and straw in the aroma. Biscuity and malty taste with bread, grain, caramel and an earthy and minerally bittersweet finish.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a mid-sized and minimally off-white foamy head. Hearty malty aroma with caramel, strawy and bready notes, as well as lighter hints of herbal hoppy spice. Moderately biiter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Cara-malty base with notes of bread, biscuits and mildly hoppy notes underneath; rather dry and bitter-sweet finish with a cara-malty tail. Good. 26.VII.16

Fläschla: Deep golden to light amber coloured, persistent mid-sized off-white head with a decent lacework;moderate caramelly and aromatic hoppy nose; moderate to almost solid bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied and pretty soft; lingering dryish caramelly and slightly piney-hoppy finish. Fine franconian stuff…
