Rochdale Winter Ale Trail 2025 Beer#4 at what is officially Venue 1. Lighter golden with a head. Very light tasting hoppy character with mild citrus evident.

First class scheduling from Film4 today on Good Friday, with The Long Good Friday showing later, worth it just for the main theme, although it's a classic Brit flick in its own right... And Pierce Brosnan's debut. This is my debut beer for Good Friday, a classic blonde session, easy going.

I remember travelling along the A55 before it became a dual carriageway, a 'Mule' probably would have been just as quick! Golden, fair, easy, slightly worried that the visiting brewery guy wasn't totally happy with it when tasting it subsequently. Not much wrong though, it's hoppy. Perhaps a hint of fruit.

I actually asked for a different beer than this, but as the server apologised so nicely I relented and took it anyway. Not a bad choice in the end. Almost sessionable stout, hints of floral. Fair body.

This is the beer I first ordered when entering the Pint Pot in Rochdale since it became a Twisted Mule concern, but was given a stout instead. Easy low-bitterness bitter, served from the local barmaid who told me her son is called 'Tyga'. Never heard that name before but always interesting to see how names have evolved over time.
