Bottle. Clear gold with a tiny white head which leaves in a hurry. No lacing at all. Aroma of grains, corn and a whiff of hops. Taste is sweet corn, grains, bread and cardboard. Way too sweet and somewhat stale. Strong carbonation. I can't get no satisfaction from this one and pity the fools that fall for the silly marketing. The ladies I drank with thought it tasted like cheap beer and that the brewer tried hard but didn't succeed.

Bottle. Milky dark orange with yeast sediment and a foamy white head. Muffled aroma of basement, old apples and a hint of citrus fruits. Taste is fruity, yeasty and somewhat stale. Very dry and very bitter finish. Strong carbonation. I'm not really satisfied. Maybe I got a bad bottle but with a pompous name like this I expect more.

A copper beer with a thick lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of lemon. The flavor is sweet malty.

Pours a dark amber color. Sweet caramel and nuts on the nose and bready too. Sweet brown sugar and nuts on the flavor and dark malts.

Bottle, at the brewpub - Bobs, 06/02/15. Clear pale golden with a moderate white covering. Nose is pale malt, straw, grain, grassy vibes, thinnish. Taste comprises bready notes, light citrics, pale malt, grain, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close touch papery. So so pale lager.

Bottle at Thorbrau, Augsburg, 06/02/15. Clear amber with a decent light beige head that retains well. Nose is caramel, biscuit, light hop presence. Taste comprises biscuit malt, toffee, light nutty tone, earthy hop dusting. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok easy drinker but not much depth and rather simplistic.

Keg at the former Charly Brau venue, Augsburg, 06/02/15. Hazed orange amber with a big old light beige head that retains well. Nose is a little thin though not unpleasant, pale malt, light citric peel, caramel, straw. Taste comprises bitter orange, straw, tangerine, pale malt, vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light earthy hop bitterness. Drinkable but pretty bland for the style - scared of hops? Lacks rock, lacks roll !
