Bottle from Beerlovers, Vienna. Pours very dark brown with a lasting off-white to beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, very light liquorice and coffee, roasting and dark fruit. Medium plus sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle, many thanks herrklemann, light gusher. Murky yellow color with white head. Aroma is straw, grassy, a bit zezty, bready yeast. Taste is straw, gooseberries, bready yeasts again. High carbonation. Quite interesting, but nothing too special, it’s also overcarbed.

Bottle, 330 ml at O’Connors, Wien. Courtesy of Werckmeister. Pours orange, medium white head. Smoked, quite strong peat, leather, malty, some fruity notes, easy drinkable. Problem is not too much is going on besides peat, lacks complexity. Medium bodied.

Moderate gusher. Dark amber to copper, hazy body, with sime floaties and a big, fluffy, lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of gingerbread, dark bread, caramel, some other spices.
Tastes quite similar, with some more toast.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes spicy, toasty, moderate roasty, a bit sweet, a bit bready.
Good. The ginger is quite dominant, but still well integrated into the darker malt notes. Reminds me a bit of gingerbread. Nothing I would drink too often, but still nice stuff.

Trübe, hellgelbe Farbe mit weißer, rasch verschwindender Schaumkrone. Fruchtiger, schön grasiger Geruch. Geschmacklich eine gute Balance zwischen Süße, Fruchtigkeit und Bitterkeit. Sehr ordentliches, erfrischendes Bier.

Bottle, many thanks herrklemann! Hazy orange color with huge white head. Aroma is honey, spicy, herbal. Taste is herbal, honey, caramel. Oily mouthfeel. Fun and balanced!
