Brewing ceased at the location in 2022, with plans to open a brewery at the Biergarten Ellermühle, production moving to Hohenthanner. With building permits denied, at the start of 2026, the operational business taken over Landshuter Getränkehandels GmbH, run in part by Hohenthanner.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts strong, not too spicy. Finish a bit dry and dusty, a bit too mild. Average!

Clear deep amber with a large beige head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, caramel and and chocolate notes. Flavour was sweet with notes of chocolate, caramel, roasted malt and hops. Finished bitter. Not bad.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass is okay. The beers starts very mild, almost washy. Finish a bit drier, modest fruity. Nothing special.

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, sugar, alcohol notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081128]

thanks kimjohansen for sharing clear amber/bown, large light brown head. not that strong aroma. malts, slight sweetness. hops makes it very fresh. flavor is sweet, malty, very slightly fruity, brown sugar, slightly smoked.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear, orangey amber with an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt and pumpernickel. Quite full-bodied with plenty of roasted malt, pumpernickel and some alcohol. Subdued bitterness. 281108

50 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours clear and golden deep orange to amber with a diminished off-white head. Smooth roasted malty aroma with a light fruity note. Sweet malty with a dense roasted malty note with a vague metallic touch and a dense caramel note. Smooth roasted malty finish.

(Bottle -- shared with Mirjukka and FatPhil, thanks, at One Pint Pub, Helsinki on 2008-12-19) Pale golde. Sligh haziness. Medium sized and quite quickly disappearing white head. Fruitiness and grass in nose. Medium bodied and dry palate. Bitterness, hint of grapefruit, grass and some malts in taste. Fruity and bitter aftertaste.

Bottle at One Pint Pub, Helsinki, on 2008-11-14. Pale golden and clear, Hardly any head. Little bit stinging hoppy aroma. Light and dry palate. Grass, bitterness, grapefruit and hint of white bread in taste. Bitter and dry aftertaste.
