bottle at home from Kalea Beer Box. light orange hazy color. small off-white head. strong smell of spices, yeasty, fruity, peach, light sour, cherries. medium body, soft carbonation, rather light mouthfeel. tastes of spices, sour, oranges, some tartness, light dry / fruity / sour finish. decent, not so much what i expect from a weizen bock, also feels rather weak than the ABV would suggest.

Draught at Craft Bier Fest Wien Tasting Sessions.
Pale, apricot colored, cloudy body, with a big, creamy, lacing, white head.
Strange aroma of tuna salad, grains, grass, bread, slight stone fruits.
Tastes of grains, grass, citrus, some other fruits, hops.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, quite dry, bready, hoppy.
Quite strange. Didn’t get the apricot at all, instead some tuna in the nose and otherwise only grainy and a bit hoppy notes. Not bad, but not what I expected.

Sampled from bottle at Craft Bier Fest Wien Tasting Sessions, shared by Werckmeister. Thanks Stefan!
Bright orange, moderately hazy body, with a small, off-white head.
Aroma of sour dried fruits, stone fruits, slight funk, some sweet malts.
Taste is quite sweet, with dried fruits, ripe fruits, sweet apples, sweet malts, alcohol.
Quite full, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes sweet, a bit sour, fruity, sweet malty.
Nice one. Drinks quite easy for the ABV and with nice, distinct fruit notes. Overall nothing special though, a bit too characterless for a barrel aged Doppelbock.
