Bottle from John’s Market in Portland, OR. Smelled lightly skunky upon opening, but that dissipated quickly. Very pale gold color with a vigorous white head. Mild grasy hop aroma. Near medium body with almost creamy carbonation. Flavor is a bit too bready/grainy, but the hops almost make up for it. Finish is just slightly too sweet.

Bottle. Sweet barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Sweet cheap lager flavor with grassy hops finish. Decent - nothing special.

Bottle. Creamy barley malt with light hint of hops. Golden yellow color with nice head. Light barley malt and moderate grassy hops flavor. Fairly light body. Blending a bit off. Not bad for a cheap pilsener.

The bottle looks really like a cheap beer. The beer in the glass is okay. Very golden, fine, creamy foam. Flavor modest spicy, not too strong, well balanced. Good beer.

Can. Clear golden with a rather big, surprisingly slow-diminishing, white head. Malty aroma with light hoppiness. Flavor is malty sweet with a bitter finish. Light-bodied, quite watery.

Canned. Clear golden, small coarse head. Vegetable aroma. Sweet and fruity with sweaty canned peach as it’s prominent flavour. Cheap and foul, some citric acid in the finish. Oh, the pain of having to wade through these undrinkable supermarket beers.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized and quite persistent foamy white head. Moderately sweet malt-accented, strawy nose with light grassy hops. Medium-sweet flavour, light to medium body, smooth carbonation. One-dimensional malty taste with bitter hoppy edges; dry and bitter finish with slightly grassy hops. Unexciting and undemanding but still somewhat drinkable.

Herb-trockener Beginn mit kurzer Süße. Laff, langweilig. Immerhin ist die auftredende Würze angenehm, der Hopfen natürlich. Das Bier hat aber sonst nichts zu bieten, es ist einfach ein simples Export, das immerhin keine groben Fehler hat. 8/8/10/8/8/8 --- Beer merged from original tick of Germania Export on 17 Jun 2011 at 06:42 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5. A light yellow beer with a thin white head. Both the aroma and flavor are sweet malty. Middle of the road - nothing wrong - nothing too exciting.
