Fläschla: Unclear, small, but stable and lacy off-white head, deep golden; sweetish nose of pale malt with fruity and nutty traces, mild hoppy background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied, quite soft; slightly lingering and drier bitter and sweet-malty finish. A bit on the sweet side, but all in all an archetypal, well balanced Märzen...

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Bready malty aroma with notes of caramel, subtle fruity accents and a whiff of herbal hoppy spice. Moderately sweet and mildly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth, well-carbonated mouthfeel. Hearty malt character with bready notes, caramel and balancing herbal hoppy spice; lingering sweet malty and slightly hop bitter finish. A clean and decent Märzen. 24.II.17
