Sample at the brewpub during the "Pumpkin Ale Tapping Party" on 09/28/2017. Clear dark orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of pumpkin spice, malt and curry. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, nutmeg, cinnamon and underlying curry. The finish is malty and spicy with a subtle curry aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at Daily Growler UA. Clear dark golden color with a medium white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Short strings of lacing. Tart apricot, wheat and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of apricot, slightly funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is mildly tart with an apricot aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the CCBA Summer Session on 08/26/2017. Slightly hazy orange-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grapefruit, herbal hops and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample from cask at the brewpub. Brown-black color with a medium tan head that recedes gradually to a dense film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and cayenne pepper. Light to medium body with flavors of roasted malt, cocoa, cinnamon and cayenne. The finish is chocolatey with a peppery aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample brewpub. Pours a hazy purple-amber color with a thin white head that diminishes quickly to a dense film. Sparse strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, malt and spice. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, pitted fruit, spice and slight hops. The finish is fruity wheat and malt. Decent overall.
