Light-bodied with a roasty malt and coffee character, and a bit of chocolate in the background. The finish is creamy with a malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear reddish-amber color with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of roast malt, caramel and fruit. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and a bit of earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a bready malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample from cask at the brewpub. Dark brown color with a medium thin tan head that diminishes steadily to a wispy film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of roast malt, cinnamon and dark chocolate. Medium body with flavors of roast malt, raisin, cinnamon and fudge. The finish is sweet with a malt and dark fruit aftertaste. Interesting beer, pretty good overall.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell during the "Aloha Streatery Brunch Bash" on 02/26/2017. The beer is a hazy yellow-bronze color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, herbal hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of juicy grapefruit, grassy hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

On draught at the brewpub. Brown-black color with a thin beige head that recedes quickly to a sparse outer ring. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, berry and dark chocolate. Medium-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, mildly tart raspberry and bittersweet chocolate. The finish is sweet and chocolatey up front with a raspberry aftertaste. Above average overall.
